We all know someone that has been affected by the impacts of cancer, and the centre in Purley provides an oasis of calm and understanding. They provide complementary therapies, counselling and other therapeutic activities within a caring and friendly environment.
Some of the services include: aromatherapy massage, face neck and shoulders facials, hairdressing, hair and wig care, hypnotherapy, manicures and pedicures, reflexology, nutritional therapy, talking therapy, arts and crafts, dance, drama, mindfulness, pilate and tai chi to name a few!
The SECHC have a membership of approximately 600 and are expanding fundraising efforts to enable them to continue their great work.
We would encourage all of our staff, clients and contacts to join us in supporting the charity by purchasing raffle tickets from our reception (£5 per book or £1 individually) – the deadline to buy tickets is Friday 27th March - you could win up to £250 and all the money raised is greatly appreciated by the charity and it’s members.
If you would like to know more about the centre, how they can help you and your loved ones, take a look at their website: www.sechc.org.uk
Our CSR team recently visited the centre which is located next to the big tesco in Purley; they got to see first hand the amazing work some of the staff carry out, below is a few photos of the centre including hand made crafts which they also sell to try and raise money.
The centre truly is a wonderful place, they welcome visitors anytime so please do not hesitate to get in touch if you or anyone you know is or has been affected by Cancer.
